    In a short video or poster, share your ideas and concepts, read the competition requirements and submit your work

  • Step 3: Share your ideas by May 10

    Sharing your work can make you eligible for cash prizes awarded by our international jury. Be sure to read the project brief and rules in the FAQ below.

Student Poster Competition FAQs

  • We are accepting submissions from students of architecture anywhere in the world. You need to include a photo of your school ID card in the email submission.

    So, yes! International students can apply!

  • We will accept one submission per person. So even if you submit as a group, you can only participate once

  • Yes you can submit in a group or individually as long as everyone is an architecture student. One person needs to be the main contact, and it is up to them to distribute the prize if applicable.

  • The following two formats are accepted

    1) Poster: Mix of graphics and text in a design that is both visually-striking and thought-provoking. Be original and remember all images, quotes and sources that are not your own, must be correctly cited, use APA style.FORMAT: PDF, max. size 11” x 17” horizontal or vertical (max. 15 MB)

    2) Short video: Moving images, interviews, animation, or any combination of techniques. Be sure to have embedded credits and a title, and note that the video content must be suitable for any audience.
    FORMAT: MOV or MP4 (max. 400 MB; max. 2 min).

  • To enter, email your submission to climatearchca@gmail.com. You will get a response from our team when your submission is received.

    If you are a Canadian student, please complete our student survey

    There is no entry fee.

    NOTE: If you are NOT a Canadian student, you participate in the same way, (by sending your poster or video to us via email) the only difference is you don’t complete the survey.

  • We have a range of prizes including 1st prize ($500); 2nd prize ($300); People’s choice ($300) and a number of book prizes. The jury decision is final. Winners will be able to share their work in our online exhibition.

  • We extended the deadline to midnight Eastern Time May 10 2022.
